FSC Bamboo Plywood

FSC® Bamboo Plywood gives you the appearance, stability, and machinability of premium bamboo panels with documented responsible sourcing. Every pallet ships with an auditable Chain-of-Custody (CoC) claim so architects, brands, and contractors can meet bidding requirements for public works, hospitality, retail fit-outs, and export furniture. Choose from vertical or horizontal grain, Natural or Carbonized tone, and indoor low-VOC or exterior-grade adhesive systems. Panels arrive calibrated, smooth-sanded and ready for your finishing workflow.

Label options: FSC 100%, Mix Credit/Mix 70%, or Controlled Wood depending on project needs and material availability.

CoC discipline: Each transaction line carries the CoC claim; invoices and packing lists reference our certificate and job number for full traceability from forest to finished panel.

Why it matters: Many tenders (LEED/BREEAM/Well-aligned) require verified supply chains under EUTR/UKTR/Lacey Act compliance. FSC panels simplify specification and approval while protecting brand reputation

Sheet formats: 1220×2440 mm (4×8 ft), 1250×2500 mm; long boards 3000 / 3100 / 4050 / 4100 mm for tall doors and wall runs

Density: 650–760 kg/m³

Moisture target: 8–10% for stable finishing across seasons

Tolerances: L/W ±0.5 mm; T ±0.25–0.3 mm; squareness ≤2 mm/m

Reference strength: MOR ≥30 MPa; MOE ≥6000 MPa (EN 310 reference, lay-up dependent)

MOQ usually 100 sheets per spec. Production lead window 10–16 working days after deposit for raw panels; add ~3–5 working days for prefinished UV sets. Cut-to-size kitting, drilling/grooves, labeling, and export packing lists are available for RTA programs.

Harvested Moso bamboo from Fujian → node removal & slitting → kiln drying → lamella edge-bonding → hot pressing with specified lay-up → calibration & wide-belt sanding → optional UV/primer finishing → documentation check & CoC claim → palletization → shipment with matching invoices and packing lists.

Matte UV → quickest site work; abrasion-resistant for retail.

White-primer UV → paint-ready film that sands lightly and keeps coating stress balanced (do both sides).

Oil-wax → warm hand feel; apply very thin coats because bamboo is dense and absorbs slowly.

Sheets are stacked with kraft interleaves, wrapped in PE shrink, edge-guarded and PET-strapped to ISPM-15 pallets; desiccant/humidity cards available. Mixed consolidation of thickness/grain/finish in one container is supported, with a pallet map for fast receiving. Typical build window: 10–16 working days after deposit.

Q1. What is the difference between FSC 100%, Mix and Controlled Wood?
100% means all bamboo fibers are sourced from FSC-certified forests. Mix combines certified with controlled inputs under FSC credit rules. Controlled Wood manages risk for non-controversial sources but is not an FSC-certified claim for credits.

Q2. Can I print the FSC logo on my product?
Only if you hold a valid FSC CoC or use an approved on-product labeling service. Otherwise, your marketing should reference the material claim on our documents, not a logo on your finished goods.

Q3. Will FSC change dimensions, glue, or performance?
No-FSC governs origin and custody, not construction. You still choose grain, glue class (E0/E1 or WBP), and finish as normal.

Q4. Is there a price premium or longer lead time for FSC?
There is typically a small premium and, for 100% runs, a reservation is advised. Mix/CW claims are more flexible. Lead windows are usually 10–16 working days for raw panels.

Q5. Can FSC and non-FSC pallets ship in the same container?
Yes, but they are segregated and labeled. Invoices and packing lists carry separate claims so your compliance team can allocate material correctly.
