When projects call for impact resistance and dimensional stability beyond conventional panels, choose strand bamboo plywood. Strands of Moso bamboo are split, fiberized and resin-impregnated, then consolidated under very high pressure and heat to form a board with hardwood-plus density and excellent wear resistance. The random, interlocked figure looks premium and hides small scratches-ideal for commercial interiors, furniture, countertops and stair parts.

Manufacturing Highlights
Fiberized strands are double steamed to de-sugar/degrease and stabilize color, then double kiln-dried to balanced MC.
Strands are resin-impregnated and hot-pressed under extreme consolidation pressure, producing a compact board that rivals exotic hardwoods on wear and screw-holding.
Panels are calibrated for thickness accuracy, then fine-sanded for consistent finishing on faces and edges.

FAQ –Strand Woven Focus
Q1. Is strand bamboo plywood solid bamboo?
Yes. The board is made from bamboo strands compressed into a solid through-core panel-no MDF or poplar core.
Q2. Can it be used for countertops?
Absolutely. Specify 18–30 mm with WBP phenolic glue when frequent wet cleaning is expected. Seal all cut-outs and edges.
Q3. How does it finish compared with normal bamboo?
It accepts dyes, stains and clear coats well. On carbonized tone, a dye-then-sealer stack gives deep espresso colors without muddiness.
Q4. Will it dull tools faster?
The high density calls for sharp carbide/PCD tools and appropriate feed rates; in exchange you get very clean edges and stable joints.
Q5. Indoor or outdoor?
Primarily indoor. For sheltered exterior use, choose phenolic WBP glue and keep edges sealed; avoid standing water.
