Laminated Bamboo Plywood is engineered by gluing narrow Moso bamboo strips into plies and then hot-pressing those plies into rigid boards. The result is a furniture-grade panel with a clean modern look, high hardness and excellent stability. Compared with many hardwood plywoods, laminated bamboo offers stronger edges for machining and a consistent color that makes exposed edges and minimalist details easy to achieve. It's a smart choice for cabinetry, tabletops, wall systems, stairs, acoustic slats and counters.

Material Science
Edge-set lamellas are kiln dried, precision sanded and bonded edge-to-edge into single plies.
Plies are then cross-bonded and hot pressed (V/V/V or V/H/V lay-ups) for dimensional control.
Two tones: Natural (light blond) and Carbonized (warm caramel); deep chocolate by request.
Adhesives: E0/E1 low-emission for interior joinery or Phenolic WBP (boil-proof) where wet cleaning is routine.

Finishing Recipes
Selected Moso culms are split, de-skinned and steamed for color control.
Strips are kiln-dried to 7–10% MC and precision sanded.
Strips are laminated edge-to-edge to form single plies (horizontal/flat, vertical/edge or strand).
Plies are laid in H/H/H, H/V/H or V/V/V structures and hot-pressed under strict temperature/pressure profiles.
Boards are calibrated, double-sanded and optionally UV finished or primer-UV for paint lines.
Every batch is color-sorted and press-log recorded for traceability.

Use compression spirals or helical heads for chip-free cuts; pre-drill 2.5–3.0 mm for screws.
For wet areas, select Phenolic WBP and seal all edges/cut-outs; keep both faces coated to stay balanced.
Long shelves/overhangs: add a concealed stiffener or increase thickness to 25–30 mm.
Oil/wax finishes must be applied thinly-bamboo is dense and absorbs slowly.

FAQ –Bamboo Plywood Cut-to-Size
1) Can these panels be cold-bent?
For gentle curves yes-use thinner sheets (5–9 mm) and laminate on a form. Tight radii require kerfs or flexible backers.
2) Is WBP necessary for kitchen worktops?
Recommended. Pair Phenolic WBP with full edge sealing and a durable topcoat for mop-down cleaning.
3) Will the color be consistent between batches?
We color-sort every press run; for large jobs order one lot or confirm a retained sample.
4) Can you supply primer-UV both sides for paint?
Yes. Primer-UV on both faces prevents tension imbalance and speeds finishing.
5) What's the typical price term and MOQ?
